This petroglyph points to Winter Solstice Sunrise
This specific petroglyph is closely adjacent and to the south of another arrow or dart point. This point is directly in line with the sunrise of the winter solstice on Dec 22 (with some slight deviation due to the year difference when it was carved in the stone). The deviation puts it in the time frame that it is thought these petroglyphs were carved about 600 AD. Interesting the other dart point is directly in line with the summer solstice sunrise with the same deviation.
