Mexican Red Bird of Paradise This is another in my backyard series to show you can shoot close to home. Caesalpinia pulcherrime "Mexican Red Bird of Paradise". Shot with Canon 1D mkIV, Sigma 180 macro lens, 12mm extender, ISO 6400, F/11 to get the full flower in sharp focus at 1/200 sec (in wind). processed 1st in Aperture 3 and used OnOne Focal point to blur background and add Vignette.
