Our first pictographs
After leaving the pavement we traveled 15 miles down a dirt road and then another 3.8 miles of extreme jeeping up and down rocks on a non-existant road to get to where we would park the jeeps and hoof it on our feet the remainder of the day. Along the way we spotted this very high shelter that contained the first pictographs of the day. We did not climb up to get close up of these but the turkey and antelope are easily recognized. A quick snap and we moved on down the rocks.
