Mile Canyon Topography Mile Canyon is one of the most sacred of places and is located in the Pecos River Rio Grande Canyonlands in Val Verde County, Texas. It is on the National Register of Historic Places and I hope over the next month and captures to show you why. It is on a private ranch of one of my friend, Jack Skiles who allows 2 trips a year into the canyon by the Rock Art Foundation. I hope you enjoy.
